Acetyl tributyl citrate (ATBC) leads this group, finding extensive use in safety-critical products like children's toys and food packaging films where it significantly improves PVC flexibility without compromising safety.

High-transparency and weather-resistant products may favor specific phthalates or modified plasticizers, while eco-conscious applications increasingly turn to bio-based options like ESO.
